Stunning Antique Asian Jewelry Box w/ Ornate Brass, Chinese Carved Jade Inserts

This stunning antique Chinese jewelry box showcases intricate brass fittings and carved jade inserts, making it a luxurious and authentic piece of décor.  According to antique app Curio, this jewelry armor was likely handmade in China in the late 19th or early 20th century and is worth up to $500.  Crafted from rosewood or sandalwood, this vintage jewelry chest is a beautiful rich red brown tone wood. It has handmade hammered brass decorations throughout, including a handle on top and the drawer pulls, all with lovely patina. Inside the drawers are blue silk fabric. It has one drawer at the bottom with two layers. Then there are three top drawers; the very top has a spot for rings, while the other two are open drawers.  On either side are two carved green jade pieces, four total, which almost seem to glow. This oriental jewelry box features exquisite craftsmanship and detailed inlay work.  The Asian antique jewelry chest is 10” tall, nearly 7” long, and just over 4.5” wide, and it’s 5 pounds 6 oz.
