Merle Norman 1950s Premium Deluxe Austrian Crystal Jeweled Two-tone Lipstick Case ***Rare Collectible *** The 17 Austrian Crystal Crown cap cluster dome was a signature feature of their premium holiday or deluxe lines. The metalwork is a two-tone design of bright gold-tone frame paired with a cross-hatched, matte scratch-textured silver-tone center, which is known by Merle Norman as a Florentine finish. The mixed-metal (silver and gold) look was highly fashionable in the 1950s to add dimension and mimic expensive ornate Italian goldsmithing. It is the perfect centerpiece to every vintage vanity display. ***Condition: Used, Great to excellent. Mild abrasions that show as much more noticeable in the pics than in person.
