Antique 1892 Monogram Vanity Dresser Tray Ornate Victorian 8x9 Scroll Unmarked

Rectangular tray with an ornate cast scroll rim and a blackletter (Old English) monogram engraved to the center incorporating the date 1892. No maker's mark or metal-content stamp is visible (see photos), and the piece is non-magnetic. The metal is not verified: the surface flaking suggests a plated finish over a base metal, possibly silverplate, but this is not guaranteed and the tray is NOT represented as silver or any precious metal. Buy on the photos and the engraved date, not on a metal claim. Approx 8 x 8 3/4 in and about 1 lb. Condition is heavily degraded throughout: extensive tarnish, dark oxidation, spotting, scratching, and finish loss with base metal showing through. Sold as-is for restoration, display, or collection. The photos form part of the condition description; examine them closely before purchasing.
