Prefers sunlight. It can tolerate direct sunlight. Grows well in moist, fertile soil. Very cold hardy. It is heat tolerant, but dislikes high temperatures and humidity. Grow in a well-ventilated environment as much as possible. For potted plants, water before the soil dries out completely.
