Swarm season is here! Japanese honeybee waiting box/next box, cedar log type (Management No. 9)

This is a waiting box/next box for collecting swarms of Japanese honeybees.
The 2026 honeybee swarm season has begun.

We are selling surplus beehives to reduce the number of waiting boxes we have on our property.
If you want to place many waiting boxes or try a log-style hive, please consider this product.
The log-style waiting box has been assembled for several years.
While I believe it has settled in nicely, there are also areas that show signs of age-related deterioration.

Please consider purchasing with the understanding that this is a personal DIY item.
The weight is estimated to be around 5-6 kg.

The size is approximately 30-40 cm in both length and diameter of the log.
Please check the images for details.

This product is a log beehive (without a top board).
If you plan to use it as a standalone waiting box, please place a suitable top board on it.
It can also be used as a next box (hybrid hive) by combining it with other beehives.

When setting up, please combine it with a platform of appropriate height (such as another log, or a wooden board placed on a plastic container) and place it in a lightly shaded area with good sunlight and ventilation that honeybees might prefer.

*This beehive has not been heat-treated.
*The black plastic container on which the beehive is placed is not included.
*Due to the large size of the product, it will be shipped not in a cardboard box, but with disassembled cardboard wrapped around it or covered entirely with a 30kg rice bag.
