Description
This is a Montoshō used in the Jōdo Shinshū Honganji-ha sect.
It is a simplified kesa (ring kesa) that Jōdo Shinshū followers wear around their necks during memorial services and visits to temples.
It has been stored for a long time in a paulownia box without being used at my family home.
Crest: Features the Sagarifuji (hanging wisteria) crest, which is the crest of Nishi Honganji.
Design: A vibrant design combining gold and orange cords on a purple background.
The lid will be removed from the box, and the item will be sent in a Nekoposu package alongside the box.
