This is a table runner made with Himeji Leather Craft (Himegami Zaiko), a traditional craft from Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Features: Made with Shiro-Namesh-i-gawa (white tanned leather), which is cowhide tanned white. It is durable and develops a deep character with use.
Design: Elaborate patterns are applied through embossing and hand-painting with brushes, then finished with transparent lacquer.
Usage: Recommended not only as a table runner but also as an interior decoration by placing glass or other items on top.
