NEC 2SD188 Pair x 2 (Total 4 pieces) (Kanda-style Parts Listing #109)

Thank you for your purchase of NEC 2SD188 pairs x 2 (4 pieces total) for the Kaneda DC amplifier parts listing (items 68, 74, and 93). They have been SOLD.

We are now listing NEC 2SD188 pairs x 2 (4 pieces total) as part of the Kaneda DC amplifier parts listing (item 109).

These 2SD188 transistors are unused and were purchased approximately 40 years ago from Daiden Shoji or Wakamatsu Tsusho in Akihabara for the construction of Kaneda DC power amplifiers. We measured the hFE at VCE = 9V and IC = 150mA. We were able to assemble 3 pairs from 3 groups with the same rank/lot. We have listed these 3 groups, and now we are listing another group that could be assembled from pairs of a different rank/lot.

Numbers have been written on the back with an oil-based pen for selection. The actual measured hFE values are as follows (Rank/Lot: Transistor Number: hFE):

● Group A (L6YE) = SOLD
● Group B (M7XE) = SOLD
● Group C (M82E) = SOLD
● Group D = M7XE: 31: 82, M7XE: 32: 87, L6YE: 46: 88, L6YE: 47: 81

This listing is for Group D, consisting of 1 pair of M7XE and 1 pair of L6YE, for a total of 2 pairs (4 pieces). If there is demand, we plan to list another pair of 2SD188 transistors in the future.

We believe they are fine as we have measured the hFE, but in the unlikely event of a defect, we will provide a refund upon return of the item. However, please contact us within one week of receiving the item.
