The Original GI JOE Private Breger By Dave Breger 1945

The original GI Joe book, Private Breger by Dave Breger, published 1945 with the dust jacket intact. The front cover has a pink and magenta background with a cartoon soldier illustration and white and yellow title text. The back cover includes a quote from Ernie Pyle and a black and white photo. The dust jacket shows chipping and small tears along the top edge of the front cover, creasing on the front cover, and significant tearing and paper loss along the bottom edge of the back cover. The spine edges show wear. Interior pages have yellowing and toning throughout, which is expected for an 80-year-old book. The illustrations and text inside are fully intact and readable.
