1939 ★ German Wehrmacht Army Special Forces ★ Brandenburg Patriot Oval Pendant ★ Eastern Front Military Pendant
This is a special patriot pendant issued to soldiers of the German Wehrmacht Army's Brandenburg Special Forces, which began the invasion of Poland in 1939.
It was believed to instill loyalty to the homeland and strong unity for mission success in its wearer.
Most of these items were destroyed after the war, making them rare today.
This is not a converted coin; it was manufactured from the beginning with a hole at the top for a jump ring to be used as a pendant. The oval shape was also adopted to differentiate it from coins.
The material is zinc alloy.
As this is a very old item, there are many dirt marks and scratches. It is being sold as-is, without any cleaning.
A 1-meter stainless steel ball chain is included.
It is in a condition suitable for daily use.
How about it for research, practical use, or collection?
Purchased in Switzerland. This is not a war trophy from a prisoner of war, but rather a piece sold by the descendant of its owner to a collector.
Please consider it.
